HI LEVI WALSH! HOW ARE YOU DOING?
Hey I’m going great 🙂

TAKE US BACK TO THE BEGINNING, HOW DID YOU FOUND YOUR PASSION INTO PRODUCING ELECTRONIC MUSIC?
My passion for electronic music goes back to when I was in early high school. I was listening to Deadmau5 and was fascinated by how he made the sounds he was making. I ended up watching his production live-streams every night before bed. As time passed I slowly started to listen to guys like Kill The Noise, Skrillex, Pendulum, Shockone, Seven Lions, FEED ME, NERO. Just to name a few that heavily influenced my inspiration to make electronic music and then made the decision I wanted to try make it a career one day.

FOR THOSE WHO AREN`T FAMILIAR WITH YOUR MUSIC, COULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL SOUND?
One word to describe my music. I would probably have to say the word “FUN”. My ideas flow on the mood I’m in, so they are always a little different from each other. I always try to incorporate an up beat style to all my tracks whether it’s like a psytrance drop or hardstyle or something just to give it an “out of nowhere” vibe haha.

ABOUT YOUR STUDIO METHODS. DO YOU HAVE REGULAR HABIT FOR CREATING A NEW SONG AND GETTING INSPIRED?
To be honest not really. I am quite a slow worker to be honest when it comes to making tracks. But I usually start with drums and try get a general flow for a drop and then work around that with the theme of the track.

YOU REMIXED “SEVEN LIONS – ONLY NOW“. WHAT MAKES YOU CHOOSE ONE SONG ABOVE ALL FOR TO DO A REMIX ON?
Well I saw Seven Lions was doing a remix competition. I love the original and wanted to see what I could do with it. It just so happened that a couple of friends who I love where also gonna make a remix so we thought we would combine ideas and put it out together. So watch out for that. Massive shoutout to Cyfy & Future Exit for jumping on the remix as well. Love those guys.

YOUR SONG “LIKE A G” HAS BEEN OUT FEW MONTHS, COULD YOU SHARE THE CREATIVE PROCESS BEHIND ABOUT THIS SONG?
The creative process for that tune was mostly around the psytrance part. That was the first part of the tune to get finished so the rest came in around that. But the general idea was just to be upbeat and try to catch people off guard when they’re listened at home or at a club. I find personally when I hear songs like that I enjoy them a lot. So I try and bring it into my own stuff like I stated earlier.

WHO DO YOU HOPE TO WORK WITH IN THE FUTURE, IF YOU COULD NAME TOP3 ARTISTS TO WORK WITH AND WHY?
Top 3 artists to work with would have to be.
1: Getter
2: Ecraze & Graphyt
3: Virtual Riot

I like these guys because they all have a signature sound and aren’t afraid to take risks and I love there music obviously. I wanted to do a shoutout to ZETTA, NVADRZ & REDAX as well, these 3 guys are 3 of my favourite producers at the moment. I am fortunate enough to have been able to work with Redax on a bunch of stuff which everyone hasn’t heard yet. These lads are killing the game at the moment and be sure to keep on the lookout for upcoming music from them. Also big ups to More Plastic, they have been insanely helpful to me with my production over the years.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SHARE SOMETHING WITH THE FOLLOWERS OF LET THE BASS GET YOU?
I want to say thanks for having me. Really appreciate it and love your work you have done with previous artists on here. Great stuff. I’m currently working on my new project “BLUEPRINTS” I put out an ID mix recently with a bunch of IDs from me and all my friends. Go check that out and watch out for more to come out in the same capsule. This will work into live shows as well so I’m very excited about when things go back to normal after the pandemic.
