HYDRAULIX RELEASED HIS NEW EP “BRUXISM” EP THROUGH WAKAAN!

Acclaimed Sydney bass music producer Hydraulix returned today with a new 5 track EP Bruxism, following on from his stellar 2020 string of singles including recent collaboration with wifisfuneral. His new EP features much anticipated original tracks, as well as festival ready collaborations, showcasing his production skills and sound design which have caught the eye of the likes of Four Tet and Skrillex.

“I wanted the EP to be wall to wall club bangers from start to finish. The EP is also named after a close friends DJ project who helped me find my Hydraulix name over 5 years ago when I was planning to become a producer. I’ve been writing a lot over the last 6 months a lot across different styles and after whittling the list down, these 5 new tracks are some of my best writing to date and I can’t wait to share them with everyone.”

On writing Bruxism, Hydraulix noted

From the opening minute of the EP, Hydraulix shows he means business with just over 18 minutes of back to back bangers. Opening track “Jewelz” is a stellar example of sound design from Hydraulix, taking it to the next level for this track with its bass trap electronica groove.

For “Stoopid“, Hydraulix teamed up with long time collaborator Rickyxsan to create a track worthy of a festival main stage anthem. The contrasting hip hop influences in the opening of the song with huge synths in the drop leave fans wanting more.

Not slowing down mid EP – Hydraulix shares “Cheer Squad“, a driving 174 track which is soon to be a fan favourite. This fast paced drum and bass is not only the perfect work out song, it really showcases Hydraulix’s intricate production creating this infectious club jam.

Fans may recognise some of the new EP tracks from recent Hydraulix sets, fourth track “Screamer” a collaboration with YDG, has been  featured by Liquid Stranger and other legends. This bass heavy festival track has gone on to become an incredibly hyped fan favourite, with huge drops make sure to turn this one up loud!

Closing out Bruxism is a very special VIP from Hydraulix and Krischvn of their 2019 single “Chopper” which was played in festival sets around the world including Lost Lands and many more. The Chopper VIP is heavy, takes no prisoners and incorporates larger than life drums  to finish the EP on a face melting high note.
