SHORT INTERVIEW WITH HI I´M GHOST

Hi I’m Ghost“, said the spooky little apparition to Nathan Davis and Tiago Nunez before revealing its plans. The entity’s intentions were to take the bass scene by storm. It just needed producers. That’s where the boys came in. With their signature eerie sound that has captivated listeners from all over the world, Hi I’m Ghost has made the heavier, darker side of dance music their focus with unrelenting releases, producing groundbreaking takes on pieces in the bass genre, as well as creating intriguing, fresh originals. 2019 has brought them some major releases including Game of Ghosts on Disciple Round Table and Misfits with legendary drummer KJ Sawka through Kannibalen Records. Their releases have even been championed by bass music’s biggest heavyweights including Excision, NGHTMRE and Slander, Black Tiger Sex Machine, 12th Planet and many more. With each release the act gains more and more momentum and all signs point to Hi I’m Ghost continuing to rise as one of bass music’s most promising acts.

Hi Ghost! How are you doing?
We’re doing as spooky as possible, thank you so much for asking how are you doing?

How did you met each other?
We actually met each other through a mutual friend we had at the time. From there we played a obsene amount of league of legends together and eventually decided to work together on a music project.

Tell us how it all began, how did you get into producing?
I (Nathan) was a piano player when i was younger and just loved making noise on a computer, around the age of 15 I started making hip hop beats and experimenting with various other sounds. Tiago got into producing with psytrance when he was very young and slowly evolved into the heavier side as time went on.

Do you have regular habit for creating a new song and getting inspired?
Sit down with your best friend laugh and make something incredible.

You released an EP called “Gimmick To Win It pt.2” through Disciple Round Table. Could you share the creative process behind about this song?
Death Games was a play on our recent song Death Rail, along with just that whole Purge Hunger Games vibe weve been going for. The collab Gas with Dr. Ozi was so much fun that guy is a amazing producer and the creative process was so much fun.

What is your favorite song from the EP?
Both haha sorry we don’t have a favorite.

Any advise for up & coming producers?
Have fun and don’t get all caught up in all the small things in begining.

Any interesting new producers you would recommend to follow?
Jiqui  X 10 WYD X 10!

What has been your funniest or embarrassing moment to date related to music?
I was playing this club in Florida last year right?  The club was sooo hot i couldn’t take it and just played with my pants off the whole time.

Would you like to share something else with the followers of Let The Bass Get You?
We love you and thank you so much for making our career possible without you wed have nothing keep it spooky and take care of yourself.
