7inn just released his debut EP through Bassweight Records! 7inn has gained huge amount of support from artists like Svdden Death, Subtronics, AFK and more heavy hitters. I got an awesome opportunity to interview 7inn and learn more about man himself. Read the interview below!
Hi 7inn! How are you doing?
I’m pretty good thanks!
Take us back to the beginning, how did you found your passion into producing electronic music?
I first started producing back in 2017 around august or september, I just wanted to learn to make all these cool noises and once I started I fell in love with it.
How have you been staying productive during the quarantine period?
Just by keeping on top of myself when it comes to making tunes, but I also have been making sure i’m not draining myself creatively.
You released your debut EP called “Alt Key” through Bassweight Records. Could you share the creative process behind about this EP?
“Alt Key” was started almost 4 months ago, I made it for a show I was playing and then ended up finishing it for this ep! Myself & Banxy have a fair lot of collabs and this was one of the ones I decided to put on my EP as it is a solid track I think ! “Glitched” and “We Don’t Ever Stop” are both almost 8 months old, i’ve been sitting on them for a while and am happy to have them on my ep!
Your “Alt Key” EP include collaboration with BANXY. How did you end up working with him?
Banxy is one of my best friends in real life and I guess we just click with making songs and I really enjoy making songs with him!
What is your favorite song from the EP?
I would probably say “Alt Key” or “Who’s High”!
This quarantine period has been hard for music industry so now it’s time to support and support, any interesting new producers you would recommend to follow?
Banxy (of course), Joeb, Automhate, Hukae & Voltra there’s probably more i’m missing some but these are who i’m bumping at the minute!
