TOP 10 ALBUMS OF THE 2020!

So many good songs came out in 2020 that are still yet to be heard on a big system by a frothing crowd. Still, that didn’t stop some amazing music coming out, with our favourite standout album releases coming from like Apashe, Snavs, Code Pandorum, Tsuki, Bear Grillz, Koven, Gravedgr, Baauer, Dion Timmer, Sub Focus & Wilkinson, Netsky, Joyryde and more, but here is our TOP 10!

1. APASHE – RENAISSANCE

Apashe released his second full length studio album on 25th of March called “Renaissance” through Kannibalen Records. Album includes 13 songs from over 10 different singers and artists like Tech N9ne, Geoffroy, SLUMBERJACK to name a few. This album is a masterpiece with real orchestra recordings combined with Apashe`s unique sound design.

2. JOYRYDE – BRAVE

Originally planned for late 2018, but eventually released through Hard Recs on 3rd of April. Joyryde’s “Brave” truly lives up to its name, with some of its tracks being made whilst he was recovering from some intense back surgery, coping with drug withdrawals as he stopped taking his prescribed nerve damage medication. The standout track on this one has to be “I’m Gone” with its huge variety of styles within the one track, with amazing transitions between each.

3. KOVEN – BUTTERFLY EFFECT

Koven released their third studio album on 13th of March called “Butterfly Effect“. Katie`s voice is so powerful that it gives goosebumps after goosebumps. With the cinematic drum & bass flavours “Butterfly Effect” isn’t just an album of tracks, it’s a journey through the hearts and minds of Koven.
