SubDocta has released his latest 2-track EP, “Crystals & Kombucha“, via WAKAAN on 28 May 2021.
The new release with WAAKAN is a continuation of this vibe with Part 1 starting off with a laid back bass heavy vibe before Los Angeles-based rapper Reverie comes in with some smooth rhymes building tension throughout the track. In Part 2, SubDocta flexes his solo production with well crafted motifs calling back to the first part amped up with some awesome sound design in the drops.
Preston Charles, aka SubDocta, launched into the scene in 2017 with his wildly successful single
“2009 Was Tight”. Known for his “West Coast Wobble”, a blend of dubstep and hybrid sounds, SubDocta has been on a number of tours for some of the biggest names in dubstep, including Ganja White Night, Excision, Riot Ten, Opiuo and Dirt Monkey. He has released 2 singles on Borgore’s imprint Fresh Blood and dropped his debut EP “West Coast Wobble” on Ganja White Night’s SubCarbon Records, which reached #1 on then Beatport top 100 dubstep releases.
