PAPA KHAN DEBUTS ON MONSTERCAT WITH LARGE NEW SINGLE “THE TIDE”!

The self-taught producer has been honing his craft for a hot minute and has absolutely created a very distinctive unique sound, that I vibe with so much. It’s a great blend of happy/heavy that just absolutely pops on a dancefloor or driving around in your car. Papa Khan’s experimental production and Eastern-inspired sound design really shine through in his tracks and that’s totally what makes them memorable!

With the release of “The Tide” today, I wonder what my Dad would think about the fact that I signed to Monstercat. One of the biggest electronic labels in the world, and one of my dream labels. I told him at the beginning of the Papa Khan project that I would make it, and here I am making my Monstercat debut. I miss him and hope you enjoy this single as much as I know he would have.

PAPA KHAN

The new track, “The Tide” released on Monstercat today (Thursday 11th November 2021) and marks the first of many releases on the label for the awesome artist. Starting off with an awesome atmosphere and sonic soundscape, the song evolves in an awesome cinematic direction building into Papa Khan’s signature style melodic drop with broken, awesome, riddim patterns dispersed between the drums!

Since his breakout EP in 2018, Indonesian Bass Music artist Papa Khan has been kicking all of the goals. From releasing on Marshmello’s Joytime Collective, to getting a huge amount of support from artists like Skrillex, Illenium, Subtronics, Marauda and 12th Planet, it appears the artist is all gas, no breaks – releasing his debut single for Monstercat today!

Fans can anticipate more groundbreaking music from Papa Khan on Monstercat next year – and we are absolutely here for it!
