Marking the first release for archangels, “Circle Pit” a collaboration with TenGraphs is a freaking fantastic debut track. Released on Crowsnest Audio on 9 November 2021, this new tune is so dance floor ready it’s not even funny – absolutely made for the mosh pit.
Commencing with heavy guitars and large amounts of energy, “Circle Pit” gets right into it. With heavy metal like vocals the intro gives way to a plucking guitar part which acts as a great contrast to the build and heavy drop that follows. This song has it all – as it evolves through different styles, another drop gets even more melodic EDM style, whilst the final drop goes back to a metal aesthetic. The artists have done a fantastic job of blending and fusing together styles whilst consistently playing with similar motifs throughout the track. The vocals are that cherry on top which really tie it all together.
Hailing from Montreal, Canada, TenGraphs aka Marc Distexhe is one of the frontmen of Crowsnest Audio and has been cultivating an awesome dark and evil sound in his productions and live performances. Putting forward a blended fustion of metal, horror and cinematic vibes with heavy bass music – the vocal work of this artist on tracks is super cool!
