Hurling towards your ears like a metaphoric comet from the cosmos, animates an EP that emphasizes a plethora of emotional extremes. The title of the goliath piece is called “VISNS” and it’s six tracks of purity, wholehearted, raw, and dramatic talent. NAZAAR, the creator of this masterpiece and a bass music legend, delves into his feelings about this piece as a time of alleviation of stress and finding peace in self. We took our time really getting the message across from his purpose behind this, and not a single key feeling is missed in this EP.
The “VISNS” EP is more than just another project; it stands for a cause that’s greater than me. “VISNS” is a body of work that’s supposed to help listeners dig deeper into their thoughts and make sense of the visions they have for themselves. In a dark time, I found my peace in writing music, stories with an audible addition to them. Each song on this EP is a story within itself, a story about the inner fight to find peace, the struggle with anger and fear, and the relief of finally letting go. “VISNS” is a story about me finally finding myself and having absolute clarity about my future. 6 songs, 6 stories, 6 different feelings; that is what “VISNS” is. I hope everyone who gives it a listen is able to feel what I felt when writing these songs and finds out just a little bit more about their own “VISNS“.

Each track of “VISNS” is particularly long, and for good reason. Each one goes through an array of transformation and progression as the listener takes hold to it’s attention. In this EP also resides a couple of collaborations with up and comers, LOUIEJAYXX, and old schoolers, Virus Syndicate. Both collaborations are worth the peek over! “SHADOWS“, the collaboration with LOUIEJAYXX, is heated festival styled pleaser, that pounds bludgeonedly to all heavy dubstep enthusiasts. “WAR CRY“, with Virus Syndicate, is mental madness in sound, and yeilds an insane rhythmic flow, also falling into the category of hefty dubstep. Also, might mention the sound design in “WAR CRY“, out of this realm, completely new and innovative.
The singles in the EP are some of the best work, because they tap into a more melodic foot that we have been seeing more out of NAZAAR. Coming from a very intense background of very heavy styles of dubstep, seeing the artist step foot into the melodic world is a proper transition. You can see the talent flare colorfully with each track put out, no matter what variant of bass genre. The track the stood out immensely was the outro, better called “LOVE BURNS“. This track lays on elements and patterns that are so unlike to combine, but he doesn’t it so well, and with pure majestic flow. If you’re waning towards beautiful music, do not sleep on NAZAAR, there is a lot to be offered from such a craftsman.
Overall, this entire self released EP slays everything it was targeting. From every touch of feelings, to utter rage and savagery, not a single point is missed. All six songs speak on their own, and are literally some of THE best from NAZAAR. Always a pleasure having our ears blessed with new trends in the bass industry, and this artist did not disappoint, but then again, he never has.
